Craigavon Community Safety Partnership (CCSP) was formed in 2005 and has been actively engaged in developing and delivering a wide variety of projects aimed at helping to make Craigavon a safer place to live work and visit.

The CCSP works with the community, local agencies and businesses to tackle problems of community safety - namely crime and disorder - we work towards reducing a number of areas of concern. These priorities are:

> drug and alcohol abuse

> anti-social behaviour and low-level neighbourhood disorder

> violent crime including domestic violence

> offences motivated by prejudice and hatred

> burglary

> vehicle crime

> fear of crime and improving neighbourhood safety

The Partnership incorporates Craigavon Borough Council, the Police Service for Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, Craigavon District Policing Partnership, Southern Education and Library Board, Northern Ireland Probation Board, Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Department of Regional Development - with all bodies committed to working together.
